Are you ready for EGGciting new recipes? We are! This fall, the Egg Nutrition Center (ENC) challenged 13 food bloggers to show how they #PutanEggonit, by developing their own custom dishes! The results were 20 unique recipes that highlight eggs’ versatility, convenience and great taste.
Adding an egg to various dishes is a culinary trend in restaurants across the country. And while many chefs add eggs for flavor, they may not realize they’re adding valuable nutrients as well. One large egg provides 6 grams of high-quality protein and varying amounts of 13 essential vitamins and minerals.1 Eggs also help improve absorption of fat-soluble vitamins2, making them an ideal pairing for nutritious foods such as vegetables and whole grains.
The recipe developers were food and nutrition bloggers from across the country.
